Marriages That Last

Some days I wonder what in the heck goes through a man's mind. They can be soooooo dense sometimes. Even after 30 years Rick and I still have times like this. Sometimes men can be so and you wonder... are they just wired this way? Sometimes you feel like you have to tell them how to do everything, what to say, what to think, and how to act. It's absolutely ridiculous!

We aren't their mothers. I have a very good man and most of the time he's really good and considerate, but there are some days when I wonder what the heck he thinks about and does he remember anything that has to do with me! Then when I say something, it's always a given that I'm overreacting or he's sorry again! Then I feel like after I point out to him what me made mad, he tries to passify me by doing the thing or mentioning the thing I was upset about.

It's like let me fuss and then change the way you act the next time. All I need to do is fuss and it finally get through to you. Like I say, maybe they're just wired this way! Doesn't excuse them, just maybe helps to understand. Let me know what you think. Writing this little rant just helped me to vent!
