Marriages That Last

In our life we are always having to make decisions. Why is making some decisions so hard to do? I think we hate making decisions because it requires us to be responsible for our actions. We don't want to mess up. You have to remember that you aren't perfect. Maybe your decision won't always turn out to be the best one. Sometimes we just make wrong decisions in our lives. Hopefully, you can take that wrong decision and change it to make it right.

You try to learn from it and move forward. The thing you have to remember is, as my husband always says, "If you don't make the decision, then life will make the decision for you." He has always taught the boys this concept. You can't always know what will happen and you just have to do the best you can with your decision.

The same thing goes for decision making in a marriage. Sometimes we just make stupid decisions. We can't blame each other if it turns out to be a wrong turn in your lives. You have to communicate together and work on fixing the decision and making it a right decision. Learn and grow from it as a couple. Be responsible to each other and your marriage committment. Pick yourselves up and move forward!
